With this brutal view, Kelsier intended to continue the fight and persuaded the crew to carry on the job. Chapter 27: The crew returned to Club’s shop and continued with the planning. With the garrison gone, the house war became the most important. They wanted Vin to find out something about house Venture’s finance for them to use as leverage. Sazed came in, they had hidden the remnants of the army in Renoux’s warehouses. Kelsier planned to bring them into Luthadel and continue their training. At night, Kelsier and Vin went out to meet Marsh. As they waited, they talked about Feruchemy and the eleventh metal. Vin also asked about the ninth metal - gold, and Kelsier let her try it. As a complement of atium, gold let one see into their past self. Marsh showed up and told them that the ministry hade dozens of Soothing stations in the skaa districts, each staffed with a soother, smoker and seeker. Marsh also said that the Inquisitors were not immortal as they could die of old age.
