Chapter 54: Vin fought the koloss to buy Sazed and the people more time to retreat to Keep Hasting, and her metals started to run low. She fought with a good feeling because she had accepted her role as a knife and found a purpose in killing to protect others. The pewter ran out, and Vin almost fell unconscious. She tested a duralumin Push on the koloss and realized that she could control them just as she had done with TenSoon. Vin arrived at Keep Hasting with her controlled koloss and ordered Lord Penrod to send out soldiers to protect the citizens and locate the koloss for her, and he obeyed. Sazed updated her on the status of their crew. After hours of searching, Sazed located Tindwyl's body at the Tin Gate.
