(Sista kapitel i del 1 och the pace finally picked up!) Chapter 11: Elend, Vin and OreSeur stod atop the Luthadel city wall and studied Cett’s army. They saw someone leaving the army on horseback and pursued by archers. Vin realised that was Breeze, then jumped off and use Allomancy to stopped the pursuers. Breeze explained that he was one of Cett's advisors and had persuaded Cett to attack Luthadel, hoping to force a standoff between the two invading armies which would improve Elend's bargaining position. The guards found two skeletons in the palace. One was OreSeur’s last body; the other had been left by another kandra a few hours earlier. Someone in their core team was now an impostor.
